Environment Green Paper – Your Views Wanted

The Welsh Government is holding an event at Tata Steel, Port Talbot on 30 January 2012 to launch its Green Paper Natural Environment Framework: Sustaining a Living Wales.

The Green Paper consultation will set out how it proposes to use the new ‘ecosystem approach’ to manage and regulate the environment in order to improve outcomes for society, business and the environment.

The consultation will form the basis for the future Environment Bill and shape the work on the new Single Body.

Speakers at the event will include the Environment Minister, Dr Salman Hussain from The Economics of Ecosystems and Biodiversity (TEEB) along with an industry speaker from Tata Steel

Places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
